My Birthday :)

I have wanted to walk all three dogs together for ages - so today we did it - had a lovely lazy morning with coffee brought to me in bed, and then bacon sarnies made with fresh french bread in the garden in the sun.

Headed off with the dogs and Tony just before lunch for Studland beach and walked for about 2 hours in the sun - the dogs loved it, Pip somehow managed to lose his collar even though he wasnt out of my sight at all??, and the labradors are now tired. The collie had an hours sleep on the way home so he wants to play now lol.

Pip was brilliant on the beach - took no notice of any other people or dogs - even ones which came to say hello - and spent the whole time running about with us and retrieving balls from the sea with Poppy. Bonnie spent her time exploring the dunes and edge of the beach but she did come down and run in the shallows for a while. By the time we got back to the car park Poppy was ambling, Bonnie was happy to mooch with us and only Pip still wanted to run! He soon flaked out back in the car though.

Pip did show his herding background though after about half the walk when he decided Bonnie wasnt going off to the dunes any more but needed to stay with us down on the beach and just went and brought her back like an errant sheep every time!

Poppy had a wonderful time chasing balls into the sea and swimming about.

Had a cream tea when we got back to the van - again in the sun, and then got home just in time to upload pics and head out for Tapas with a much reduced group of friends as everyone pulled out today due to flu bar one couple! More food for us then....
