Bonnie first

Chiro was fab - even though Bonnie wasnt actually lame she could see how stiff she was on the right hand side (no mean feat as Bonnie adores Angela so was leaping about rather that walking/trotting properly!) she also noticed the ear which I hadnt mentioned to anyone :)

Interestingly she felt Bonnies usual problem areas were still much better and definately improved. She thinks that as her bosy is changing to be more balanced muscles etc which have had to compensate for years are now going back to their correct job, and thus other bits of her are struggling.

She had a locked 4 rib on the right and her atlas was displaced ventrally. Her lats were really tight as a result. She freed'd it all off, and I could immediately see the spasms relaxing and her shoulder blades moving properly again.

So will finish her week on Metacam (last dose tomorrow am - then start upping the exercise back to normal next week, then chiro again on 14th April, then all being well start training again after that - low height jumps to start. If she goes well I'll think about doing maybe one SC on 29th April save losing all our money - but if she isnt ready then it will be a longer wait. I'd rather give her time and have her properly well for the end of the season!

This morning she was bouncing out of her skin and jumping up again (is that a good thing?) She is happy though, and bless her for trying to jump even though she must have found it so hard xx
