Odd but lovely

weekend...

Its been very odd being home for 4 days with nothing going on... nice but odd!

I have felt a bit sad to see everyone having such fun at the shows, but I've also had such fun hanging out in the sun with my kids and Tony this weekend. Pip has been allowed big dog freedom all weekend - he's been helping me strip the agility equipment in the field, helped set up a course, helped with th work we're doing in the garden, and generally just hanging out. He has also been fantastically well behaved. :)

Took him out on a walk we rarely do this morning - think he's been there once and in the opposite direction, and he was such a good boy. Still not a lot in the way of instant recall - but I also only asked once - when he was just about to chase some birds - and he came instantly. Other times he came in to a handtouch ad down. He does outrun or go far - stays withing 50 ft at all times and hates me getting farther away than that, so no real worry to walk him.

So nice to just have all 3 dogs hanging about with us in the sun :)
