vet visit - Poppy

Poppy now has even MORE drugs... whether she was stung or not is debatable but she now has dermatitis in that area, vet was happy with the dermapred cream but we're changing to Fucidin as its not green and therefore less messy! Also some AB's for any infection.

The lameness is most likely chronic RCL as there is some draw on the tibia and it more swollen that RH, also given the way she is (or isnt) using the leg. We will manage conservatively initially given her age and OA, and see how we get on - 6/10 lame today so definate improvement on yesterday. She is never totally sound anyway so if she continues to improve over the next couple of days then we wont do any more. If she doesnt improve more or gets worse again then we'll consider referral for scans to see the extent of the damage and xrays for the amount of OA she has before making any decisions.

Not the best day couple of days I ever had.
