Jumping first - new dog in our group too - v high energy young collie. He didnt pay much attention other than a quick sniff and a few looks.
Started with jump and tunnel exercise. Waits were a little dodgy - lots of dogs behind him and he was a little unsure. Jump tunnel jump. the jump tunnel right turn and 3 jumps back. finally jump tunnel turn left front cross go round and jump jump jump. Did them all fabulously.
Then did a grid to drive to toy. He hadnt been very switched on to his toy up til then, but after the first few he really did drive to it - didnt run off with it and wanted to play.
Then other end - was set up as gamblers - we didnt do that but made up our own course. jump DW to tunnel - he jumpped off the contact. got it and carried on - see saw - jumped off - got it again then jump jump jump tunnel, jump out to Aframe - got the entry :) but then jumped off. So practiced some more contacts which he got well considering there were lots of distractions.
He also got all his ups on the contact and did some cloth tunnels really well. So generally very pleased with him :)
