1. Jumping - concentrate on taking him to full height. Use spreads - start with one on low, then take one end of back rail up, then one end of front rail, then back rail right up, then front rail right up. when he is happy with that go back to low and introduce a 2nd spread 4-6 strides away (vary this distance) start with both low then take 2nd up as before, then that back low and 1st up then 1st and 2nd up. Play with distances between jumps. Once happy then start fading front pole. take it down, then on ground then remove leaving wings, or remove wings and leave pole - whichever works best with him.
2. box work - continue practising the placement and handling with positional rewards but be wary of doing too much at low height as this might stress hime when they go up.
3. see saw. continue the end position stuff but add in banging games and rewarding when it bangs - make it fun and fast and have him eager for it
4. waits - practice start line waits and be black and white on criteria. He is moving hind foot to get ready to go. make a decision on what is acceptable and what isnt to ME.
5. Laminate some cards on routines for start line, positions, set ups, rewards - use like crib cards
