Training 22/12

Pip - recalls in the field - restrained recalls - fab really wanted to come to me. Need to keep turned away from him and notexpect him to come to me front on like an A - mix up with standing and running. Also when he gets to me through toy forward and race to it. On puppy line. ask for a nose touch and reward.
Then played with throw toys - evident problem... on puppy line reel him in. Off line can put in down then call him 2 paces if he will.
Practice the down to come 2 paces away
Walking - try walking alone off lead not toy, reward each time he comes to me. ask for nose touch and reward. Have ball in pocket in case I need it to get him back.
Played really well this week with several toys. Also played really well in the garden even with Christie and Devo there. Nice greeting with Christie too. Played with me whilst Devo played with Karen about 20ft away. played with devo and recalled off him when D was called in to sit. Did that twice. Also came back to focus on me much quicker after getting spooked by people in field/ walking up drive etc

Bonnie - just did massage today and she was much more relaxed (for Bonnie)

On the way home took Pip to visit the vets to collect pills for Poppy - he didnt like Jackie at first - oops-but was ok with everyone else and also came round to Jackie - I think she was a bit upset as she loved him so much as a pup! We have to go back for a cup of tea soon :)
