Decision Made

Poppy is booked in for surgery next week. She has continued to slowly deteriorate despite rest so the options are now limited to accepting she only has a few months or trying the surgery.

Vet gives 70% chance of the surgery having a successful outcome (ie. Poppy being improved after surgery)

Wish he had been able to do it sooner now we have decided as the wait will be horrid, but he wants to schedule it to allow lots of planning time and to include two of his senior collegues (Holger Volk - Head of Neurosurgery will lead the surgery and either Patrick Kenny or Emma Davies will assist) so has to make sure they are available. IF we have a sudden deterioration they will bring it forward.

Should then know Thur/Fri the likely outcome
