Friday - Pip went off to his first obedience class at Andrew and Carols. He was a total star - far and away the best puppy in the class both in terms of concentration on me and in terms of what he can do.
He did get a bit distracted a couple of times by Andrew's squeaky ball and by other puppies, BUT it was quite simple to get his attention back. There was another agility collie there too - couple of days older and he was sooooo much better behaved and concentrated. It was huge compared to him too. I was delighted with him - I thought 45 mins minght be too long for him to concentrate but he was fine. Did sit, come, heel work, and concentrate on mummy she is wonderful work.
Really concetrated on heel work this week and it is so improved. He is SOOOO quick!
This morning we encountered loose chicken in the filed with him loose and hecame and played with me instead of them!
Sat he came to agility with me and Sun we took him and Bonnie to the vintage show - stationary engines are NOT frightening it seems.
Poppy ate rat bait on Sat - £250 later and a few hours at vets now and she is fine.
Bonnie went to UKA Saturday - she was obedient if deathly slow - even over contacts, so scrubbed the last class and sun and came home. She coughed a bit sun and mon and today its worse - so I think she has kennel cough - Julia is off today - so will maybe see if Ravi or Sabine is in later.
In other news looking at taking Pip to a puppy course at Devon dogs in Nov - its with Lauren Langham so shd be good :)
