NSAIDS and rest seem to be helping. Well rest of sorts... no training, no ball chasing, no bunny chasing, no rough and tumble. He is still having walks and I am swimming him , albeit gently.
Food is reduced to just meat, no kibble at all.
Last night and this morning he definitely had much less lameness when getting up. Will assess later after he has had a good sleep.
Plan is Chiro tomorrow, assuming she finds nothing and he continues to stay sound with NSAIDS and rest then we will stop the drugs on Friday and continued reduced exercise over the weekend.
IF he stays sound without drugs yippee, and will gradually increase exercise again.
Vet booked anyway for Monday in case he immediately goes lame again without drugs to sedate him for a full detailed examination.
If that finds nothing then we have to decide whether we MRI the leg/back. This is the outcome I REALLY don't want.
In the meantime our nose touches and start line waits are getting lots and lots of practice, as is our ability to improvise and create
Was going to go watch training last night but I couldn't face going with no dog :(
