Pip lesson tonight

Pip had a private lesson tonight cos noone else showed up for our class biggrin.gif

As this was 1st week of new class it was a new instructer so she ran us through our paces and was very impressed with him. Gave me some good tips on getting him closer on the leg and we decided that I might as well train him to competitive obedience heel work even if we dont compete as it wont hurt him for agility, and it gives a 2nd choice career.
We then did some work on his waits, some send aways, some cone work, and some recalls. All of which he was fabulaous at. She said he is very bright even for a collie (and she has 5 - all of which are G7 agility and have been to Crufts obedience (and won with 1 so she should know)

Anyway he had the time of his life. He just enjoys learning so much.

She also demo'd some stuff to show me what she meant... he has never worked for anyone else at all so I wasnt sure how he would be but off he trotted bless him. He didnt want to play with her afterwards though and legged it back to his momma for that biggrin.gif

I love working with him - he has such a fantastic mind and such a desire to learn and do stuff. Even if its eating a moth, or chewing a bone - he puts everything into all he does. wub.gif
