So long since I blogged!

And such a lot to say. In Feb 2015 we sadly said goodbye to Poppy as she crossed the bridge. My lovely girl was 14 and happy to the end, swimming and going for a plains walk on the Friday before becoming a little ill on the Monday and going to sleep on Wednesday. Love you gorgeous one. Bonnie is so sweet these days, the old as I had pretty much gone, though bog dog remains 😃. She is nearly 10, and a very happy girlie now she has recovered from losing her friend Poppy. Sadly in 2014 she had to lose the end of her tail, we battled for 6 years to keep the tip healed after she burst it but in the end we had to admit defeat for the sake of the walls covered in blood all the time! Sadly 2 months after the op she started to have fits. Homeopathic treatment stopped them for a while and keeps them under control. Pip has gone from strength to strength. In 2013 he won up to Grade 5 (winning grade 3 twice, and winning out of grade 4 on his first show at that grade) that win took him to the Dog Vegas 3-5 final, coming 2nd in the final after injuring himself on course and coming out lame. Just a pulled muscle soon healed. 2014 was spent on harder 5-7 courses trying to get ready to win up. He qualified for the Novice Olympia quarter finals at Wraxall though, running 4th we had no time to see other dogs run and sadly got eliminated. By the end of the year I had broken his wait and contacts oops. Camp in September with Tasha, Sian and Laura set us on the right path and a winter of training shows reinforced it. Running Shaunas slovenly Fern made me have so much value for these things, it is an amazing feeling walking out knowing your dog will stay! 2015 saw us come out as a strong partnership with trust in each other. He quickly won his first G 5 agility in May at Shrewsbury, and got some great placing a 4th in combined 4-7 jumping in good company at Kernow. The only dogs in the top 10 were G7 and he beat some agility champions! He qualified for Olympia novice again at Hinckley but then his speed went a bit, I think due to our new arrival) but by Tuffkey in July it was coming back and he had his second win in agility at Derbyshire, winning G5 in a 5-7 class. Only the winning G6 (Pams Jack) beat him, and the 5 G7 clears were faster. We then trained the rest of the weekend as Sunday was the cut off for the Novice Cup at KCI. First time out after that he again won the G5 part of a G5-7 agility to go G6 at Adams. Couple of weeks off and then KCI here we come. Feels odd to be so looking forward to Novice cup and Olympia Quarter finals but that the rest of our runs at G5 are freebies. So the new arrival... Baby Jack. Chazak Shining Star. Is adorable. A sable from Anne Marie Waugh and a bit of an impulse buy when Magic was preggers. i loved him for. The start when I saw the pics and no one else wanted him, one person even taking and returning him. My gain, he is amazing and I love him to bits. such an easy puppy too! So... Gphe was born 11/3/15... And he's 14.6kg already!
