Jumping was first - I was a bit worried as she is usually tired 2nd day but had fed her up for the show so had hope. She was keen and we followed the seperation anxiety start process with Dee taking her just before we went in for a couple of mins.
she started fabulously and flew round paying lots of attention to me, got the weaves albeit slowly, did the difficult turns, but then got 5 at the tunnel as it was tricky entrance and 3 dogs and handlers had parked themselves very close and in her direct sight line - picked it up again and ran well but had an unlucky 5 on a pole when I gave her bad directions.
Steeplechase. - was REALLY good - very focussed, did the snake and tricky tuns really well and was going for it til muppet mother called her too soon for a tight turn, she stopped, jumped from a stand still and had the pole. then finished really well. Got a big OHHHHHhh from the line whe that happened. Still inside time so it would have been 2 more points - never mind!
Agility - was really soon after SC and she was tired, but still started well. She seemed to have got something in her ears - stopped on top of A frame and shok head, then when she got off it etc and lost her flow. got her started again after weaves and she flew the tricky tunnel combo jumps and dog walk - but again shook her head. At the end she was more interested in rubbing her head on floor than treats. She had a bit of wax but nothing obvious so cleaned it, let her shake and fine after.
And then.... the curse of the 9th!
Got home, and she chased a rabbit into the hedge and stabbed her eye on a twig! SO AB drops for a week - she seems fine now tho.
