Thatchum DTC UKA Mapledurham 9/10 April

Well who knows? Last Thurs I thought she wasnt enjoying it - this weekend she was clearly having a ball.

Fri - Agility. Lovely flowing course, and following Karen's instruction from last week I forgot about not hadnling her andd gave her lots of praise, and when she got distracted went and got her and restarted and she gave me much better attention. Weaves still lacking confidence.
Fri - Sc. Again a lovely round with a couple of distracted bits. Same tactics as yesterday so E'd but she was again really attentive - just one lapse of attention.
Fri - Jumping. Lacked confidence on weaves, BUT... kept her past the burger bar, thee pet food stand, AND greg playing with Detox by the ring edge. VERY pleased with that.E''d due to handling.

Sat - Agility. Excellent round - fast and accurate on a tricky course..... shame it was in 2 sections though lol. she did jump tyre, jump jump and off to thee trees for a sniff. Went and retrieved her so E'd for handling... then did the rest of the course - stopped on Aframe as Tyler at bottom (Grrr) but ignore him and carried on despite me trying to do the tyre out of order weaves were shaky but all the other contacts and jumps were brilliant and smashing last bit - even really tricky turn from seesaw to jump. Judge said "wow - she'll be good when you get her attention the whole way round" Inside time even with her wandering off.

Sat - SC - fab round - totally with me and focussed :) I muffed up 3rd tunnel by putting her in too far away, and then she clipped a pole when I gave her a crap approach. so 10 faults,

Sat jumping - trained starts and weaves. Good girl but tired.

So pleased with her this weekend - she was much more focussed and gave me hope of completing a ccourse at some point! General behaviour good and happy to lay beside car with Kip and Millie laying nearby.
